As a Quebec-based business, we are subject to Quebec Law 25 — formally known as An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (S.Q. 2021, c. 25) — and we are committed to handling your personal information responsibly and transparently in accordance with its requirements.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

3.2 Recruitment and Human Resources

3.3 Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC, United States) to measure audience size, understand how visitors navigate our site, and improve our content and user experience. This service collects device identifiers, IP addresses, pages visited, session duration, navigation behavior, and approximate location. Legal basis: your consent, obtained through our cookie consent banner (Moelleux by Horizon-Cumulus).

3.4 Web Fonts Display

We use Google Fonts (operated by Google LLC, United States) to render text on this site in a visually consistent way. When your browser loads a page, it may send your IP address to Google's servers to retrieve the font files. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting a functional and readable website.

3.5 Cookie Consent Management

We use Moelleux by Horizon-Cumulus (9322-8310 Québec inc., Joliette, Quebec) to manage your cookie consent choices and to host this privacy policy. A preference cookie named moelleux_{site_key} is stored in your browser for up to 13 months to remember your choices. Consent records and this policy are hosted in Quebec (OVH, Beauharnois). Legal basis: legal obligation under Quebec Law 25 to document consent.

4. Third Parties and Processors

The table below lists every third-party service currently active on this website. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

5. Transfers Outside Quebec

Two of the services we use transfer personal information to the United States, as detailed below. Under section 17 of Quebec Law 25, we are required to disclose such transfers and to ensure that the receiving jurisdiction offers an adequate level of protection before the transfer takes place.

5.1 Google Analytics 4 — United States

Google Analytics 4 is operated by Google LLC, headquartered in the United States. Your device identifiers, IP address, navigation data, and approximate location may be processed on Google's servers in the United States. Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and relies on standard contractual clauses as a contractual safeguard for international transfers. A Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) has been or will be conducted prior to this transfer, as required by Quebec Law 25.

5.2 Google Fonts — United States

Google Fonts is also operated by Google LLC in the United States. Your IP address may be transmitted to Google's servers when your browser loads font files. The same contractual safeguards described above apply. A PIA has been or will be conducted for this transfer as well.

5.3 Services Remaining in Quebec

Our website is hosted and managed by Horizon-Cumulus (Joliette, Quebec). Our business email is operated by Horizon-Cumulus Email (Canada, Quebec). Consent records managed by Moelleux are stored at OVH's Beauharnois, Quebec data center. No personal information processed by these services leaves Quebec.

6. Retention Period

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

Once the applicable retention period expires, personal information is securely deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer identify you.

7. Your Rights

Under Quebec Law 25, you have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of them, please contact our Person responsible for the protection of personal information (see Section 8). We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.

• Right of access: You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you and to receive a copy of it.
• Right of rectification: If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may ask us to correct it.
• Right of erasure: You may ask us to delete your personal information when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or when you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for keeping it.
• Right to data portability: You may ask us to provide your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format so you can transfer it to another organization, where technically feasible.
• Right to withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information (for example, for our newsletter or analytics cookies), you may withdraw that consent at any time without penalty. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the Quebec Information Access Commission (CAI) at https://www.cai.gouv.qc.ca.

We will acknowledge your request promptly and provide a substantive response within 30 days, as required by Quebec Law 25. If your request is complex or voluminous, we may extend this period by an additional 30 days and will notify you accordingly.
